Funding Options

At Family First Therapy, our fees are based on the type of therapy required and are charged on a per-session basis.
 

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

We provide services for both self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. If you’re still in the process of applying for NDIS, contact the NDIS hotline at

1800 800 110. Need assistance with the application? We can help you answer some of the questions after an initial assessment. For more information, visit the NDIS website.
 

Medicare Sessions

For clients referred under a Chronic Disease Management Plan, we offer bulk-billed or Medicare-rebated sessions.

Please note:

  • Initial assessments may take up to three shorter sessions under bulk-billed arrangements.

  • We recommend completing a 1-hour full-fee assessment first, followed by bulk-billed or rebated sessions for ongoing therapy.

 

Private Health Insurance

Families with private health insurance may be eligible for rebates on therapy sessions. Please note that clients are responsible for submitting claims to their health fund.

We can provide itemised receipts after each session to make claiming simple and straightforward. Rebates and eligibility vary depending on your fund and level of cover.
